The Highfield Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a nationally recognised qualification designed for individuals who are appointed as emergency first aiders within the workplace. The qualification meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is suitable for organisations whose first aid needs assessment identifies the need for trained emergency first aiders.
During this practical one-day course, learners will gain the confidence, knowledge and skills to respond effectively to a range of workplace emergencies. The course combines classroom-based learning with practical scenarios to ensure learners can provide immediate assistance until professional medical help arrives.

Streetwise Security Services Booking, Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy 1. Booking Your Course A place on any Streetwise Security Services course will only be confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the total course fee. The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full no later than 14 calendar days before the course start date. Streetwise Security Services reserves the right to refuse attendance where the full course fee has not been received by the payment deadline. 2. Payment Terms A 50% deposit is payable at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 14 calendar days before the course commences. Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date may result in the booking being cancelled and the place being offered to another learner. 3. Learner Cancellation If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify Streetwise Security Services in writing as soon as possible. The Centre will consider all requests individually. Refunds and transfers are not automatic and are at the discretion of the Centre, taking into account: The amount of notice provided. Costs already incurred by the Centre. Whether the place can be filled by another learner. Any exceptional circumstances supported by appropriate evidence. As a guide: More than 14 days before the course: The Centre may offer a transfer to an alternative course date or consider a refund. Within 14 days of the course start date: Refunds or transfers will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and entirely at the discretion of the Centre. Failure to attend (No Show): No refund or transfer will normally be offered. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation. 4. Exceptional Circumstances Streetwise Security Services understands that unforeseen events can occur. Requests relating to serious illness, bereavement or other exceptional circumstances will be considered sympathetically. The Centre may request appropriate supporting evidence before making a decision. 5. Course Transfers Where operationally possible, the Centre may, at its discretion, allow a learner to transfer to a future course. Approval is not guaranteed and may be subject to an administration fee. 6. Cancellation by Streetwise Security Services Streetwise Security Services reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course where circumstances require, including but not limited to: Low learner numbers. Trainer illness. Venue issues. Severe weather. Events beyond the reasonable control of the Centre. Where this occurs, learners will be offered either: A place on the next available course; or A full refund of all fees paid to Streetwise Security Services. The Centre cannot accept liability for any additional costs incurred by learners, including travel, accommodation, childcare, loss of earnings or any other consequential expenses. 7. Highfield Qualifications Where a course leads to a Highfield qualification, Streetwise Security Services will administer training, assessment and certification in accordance with Highfield's Centre requirements. Learners must meet all attendance, identification and assessment requirements to be eligible for certification. Course fees cover training and the initial assessment attempt unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for replacement certificates, re-assessments or re-booking where permitted. 8. Consumer Rights This policy is intended to comply with UK consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations where applicable. Nothing within this policy is intended to restrict or remove a learner's statutory rights. 9. Acceptance By paying a deposit or booking a course with Streetwise Security Services, the learner confirms that they have read, understood and accepted this Booking, Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy.
